We Starting To See Some Patterns–Good And Bad–In The Early Builds Of The Season.

  1. Buffalo BillsUpside: Balanced, efficient, and finishing drives (3-0 start). Downsides: Run fits can spring leaks • occasional red-zone stalls vs. tight shells • flags at bad times.  
  2. Philadelphia EaglesUpside: Resilience and finishing kick in comeback win at L.A. Downsides: Secondary communication lapses • red-zone defense strain • slow starts.
  3. Detroit LionsUpside: Statement road win with physical fronts and closing juice. Downsides: Coverage can give up chunks • penalties crop up • short-yardage creativity.  
  4. Green Bay PackersUpside: Defense travel-ready; offense multiple when on-schedule. Downsides: Turnovers proved costly vs. CLE • short-yardage push • drive-killing flags.
  5. San Francisco 49ersUpside: Still clutch (walk-off W) and QB poise late. Downsides: Nick Bosa lost for season (ACL) • run game bottled at times • third-quarter lulls.  
  6. Los Angeles ChargersUpside: Herbert closing ability (time-expiring FG) and defense timely. Downsides: Early red-zone sharpness • run-game consistency • soft spots in zone on money downs.  
  7. Seattle SeahawksUpside: Comprehensive Week-3 beatdown, even while shorthanded. Downsides: Run game up-and-down • third-down offense streaky • health for key DBs/RB.  
  8. Indianapolis ColtsUpside: Offense humming with explosive balance. Downsides: Interior pressure leaks • DB miscomms show up • penalty discipline.  
  9. Jacksonville JaguarsUpside: Defense tightening; offense finding rhythm. Downsides: Goal-to-go finishing • nickel run fits • backup OT vs. power.
  10. Kansas City ChiefsUpside: Defense keeps them in every game; Mahomes magic late. Downsides: WR depth/availability churn • red-zone bog-downs • explosive plays allowed in spurts.  
  11. Washington CommandersUpside: Defense has carried long stretches. Downsides: Red-zone offense • third-down conversion rate • run-fit edges.  
  12. Los Angeles RamsUpside: Offense can jump on teams; RB duo legit. Downsides: Secondary depth (injury) • special teams miscues (blocked kicks) • red-zone finishing (2-for-5 vs PHI).  
  13. Minnesota VikingsUpside: Late-game QB composure and comeback chops. Downsides: Third-down droughts crop up • run fits inconsistent • protection wobbles vs. pressure.  
  14. Pittsburgh SteelersUpside: Timely defense plus clutch scoring drives. Downsides: Pass pro stress points • run game not closing games • explosive plays allowed.  
  15. Baltimore RavensUpside: Offense still pops; ceiling obvious. Downsides: Ball security (Derrick Henry fumbles) • couldn’t finish vs. DET • late-game defense wilted.

  18. Cleveland BrownsUpside: Defensive front can flip games (GB win). Downsides: Red-zone finishing • run push light at times • specials lack swing plays.  
  19. Arizona CardinalsUpside: Physicality on the road and timely rushing. Downsides: Drive finishing • pass-pro vs. games/stunts • special-teams hiccups.  
  20. Tampa Bay BuccaneersUpside: Defense performing; key offensive pieces nearing returns give hope. Downsides: Pass pro stress • red-zone stalls • early tackling angles.  
  21. New York JetsUpside: Breece Hall + new QB juice offer upside. Downsides: Costly turnovers in big spots • defense gave up 4 TDs to PIT • walk-off 60-yd FG allowed.
  22. Atlanta FalconsUpside: Scripted offense shows sparks; QB mobility. Downsides: Consistency after script • major RT injury (Kaleb McGary) • run game not springing explosives.  
  23. Carolina PanthersUpside: Defensive speed; flashes from young skill. Downsides: Third-down stalls • chunk runs allowed • limited deep passing.  
  24. Cincinnati BengalsUpside: Defense can gut out tight games. Downsides: Explosives thin • pass pro strain late • QB health/efficiency watch.
